Welcome to "CASA LEONE" Hotel, an authentically restored, historic Venetian villa built in the 15th century, situated at the romantic Venetian port of Chania. Its original owners were Venetians descended from a well-known family of musicians named Leone, from whom our hotel has taken its name.

During the Turkish occupation it became the residence of a pasha, until Crete became an autonomous state and Casa Leone was occupied by a Greek family. During World War II the building was requisitioned by the Germans and turned into one of their headquarters. When the war ended, the Greek owners of Casa Leone returned, where they lived until selling it to our family in 1951.
